New Ordsall Neighbourhood Watch schemes launched

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that new neighbourhood watch schemes have been set up in Ordsall, in a bid to allow residents to take responsibility in making the area a better, safer place to live.

Three separate schemes have been organised at Lowry Wharf, Robert Hall Street and Carmell Close, and the police are looking for those interested in the initiative to come forward and get involved.

Ordsall Police Community Support Officer Adam Marsh described the scheme as one that serves as an important point of contact between the police and residents, and one that gives “a real sense of community togetherness.”
